Lenovo ThinkPad T480 · Intel Core i7 (8th Gen) · 14" Full HD · 8 GB / 256 GB SSD

This Lenovo ThinkPad T480 is the kind of machine that quietly gets the job done, day after day. The ThinkPad T-series is the laptop IT departments across India actually trust. Large IT companies and banks have handed it out to employees for years because it simply keeps working. The T480 is often called one of the best ThinkPads ever made — four-core 8th-gen power, and it's easy to upgrade.

The Core i7 gives you extra headroom for heavier work: big spreadsheets, coding with several tools open, and light photo or video editing. 8th generation was a big jump for Intel: it was the first time thin business laptops got four cores instead of two. In practice that means noticeably smoother multitasking than older models — this is the generation we most often recommend. 8 GB of RAM is comfortable for everyday multitasking — browser, Office, music and a video call. A 256 GB SSD keeps everything snappy — no waiting around for the hard drive. The 14-inch Full HD screen gives you sharp text and room for two windows side by side.

Build and everyday use

Sturdy 14-inch body, roughly 1.6 kg, tested against drops, dust and temperature extremes. Arguably the best keyboard on a mainstream laptop, with the TrackPoint and physical buttons ThinkPad fans love. It comes with genuine Windows 11 Pro installed and activated.

Upgrades

Most T-series models have at least one free RAM slot and a standard M.2 SSD, so upgrading later is cheap and easy. Ask us and we'll confirm for this exact unit.
