Are refurbished laptop grades standardised?
No, not in India. There's no official standard for what "Grade A" or "Grade B" means, so every seller defines their own.
One seller's Grade A might be another's Grade B. That's why you should always read the grade description, not just the letter.
What a good grade description tells you
- What kind of marks to expect (light scuffs, scratches, dents)
- Where they might be (lid, base, palm rest)
- Whether the screen has any marks
- That the laptop works fully, whatever its grade
Here's exactly how we grade. If you'd like photos of the actual unit, just ask before you order.
