Dell Precision 7730 · Intel Xeon E-2176M · 17.3" Full HD · 16 GB / 512 GB SSD

If you want Dell Precision workstation quality without paying new-laptop prices, this is the one to look at. The Precision 7000 series is Dell's heavy-duty mobile workstation — the laptop engineering, VFX and design firms buy when a normal laptop won't cut it. It's big, it's powerful and it's built to run flat out for hours. The Precision 7730 is a 17.3-inch desktop replacement; its large Full HD screen is great for timelines, CAD drawings and big spreadsheets.

Inside is an Intel Xeon mobile processor — a workstation chip with multiple cores and support for error-correcting memory. It's built for long renders, simulations and big datasets where stability matters more than anything else. 16 GB of RAM gives you room for plenty of browser tabs, an IDE, Teams and Excel all at once. The 512 GB SSD means it boots in seconds and apps open quickly. The 17.3-inch Full HD screen gives you sharp text and room for two windows side by side.
