The Core i5 is the sweet spot for most people — quick enough for multitasking, Office, coding and online classes, without the extra cost of an i7. Sixth-generation Intel brought faster DDR4 memory support, and with an SSD this machine feels quick for everyday work and multitasking. 8 GB of RAM is comfortable for everyday multitasking — browser, Office, music and a video call. Build and everyday use

One honest note: Microsoft ended free security updates for Windows 10 in October 2025, so this is best for offline or office-network use, or enrol it in Microsoft's paid Extended Security Updates.
