Dell Latitude 5420 · Intel Core i7 (11th Gen) · 14" HD · 8 GB / 256 GB SSD

If you want Dell Latitude 5000 quality without paying new-laptop prices, this is the one to look at. The Latitude 5000 series is Dell's mainstream business laptop — the reliable middle of the range that most companies roll out to their staff. It balances build quality, ports and price very well. The 5420 is an 11th-gen Latitude with Iris Xe-class graphics, Wi-Fi 6 on many units and USB-C — very current for a refurbished laptop.

The Core i7 gives you extra headroom for heavier work: big spreadsheets, coding with several tools open, and light photo or video editing. 11th-generation Intel brought Iris Xe graphics, which are roughly twice as capable as older Intel graphics — you notice it in video calls, external monitors and light editing. 8 GB RAM is the right amount for study, office work and normal multitasking. The 256 GB SSD means it boots in seconds and apps open quickly. The 14-inch HD screen is fine for documents, browsing and video.
