Are Amazon Renewed laptops genuine?
Laptops sold under marketplace "renewed" programmes generally come from sellers who have to meet the marketplace's rules for refurbished products. Many are perfectly good.
The thing to understand is that a marketplace is not one seller. Two renewed listings can come from two very different refurbishers, with different testing, grading and after-sales support.
Before you buy on any marketplace
- Check who the actual seller is and read their ratings
- Read the warranty terms: how long, and who you contact
- Check the return window and who pays for return shipping
- Look for real details: generation, RAM, storage, battery information
