Construction Cost Per Square Foot in Bengaluru (2026)
“What does it cost per square foot?” is the first question every family asks — and the most misleading one if it is answered without context. Here are realistic 2026 numbers and what sits behind them.

A worked example: 30×40 G+1
A 1,200 sq ft plot with typical setbacks gives roughly 1,000 sq ft per floor, or 2,000 sq ft built-up for G+1 including the staircase headroom. At a Premium rate of ₹2,350 that is about ₹47 lakh for construction.

- Interiors beyond the BOQ
Why per-sq-ft quotes can mislead
Two quotes at the same rate can hide very different specifications — cement grade, tile price, window material, waterproofing system. Always compare line-item BOQs, not headline rates.
