Trip overview

Varanasi is best experienced slowly. We stay near the ghats, take a sunrise boat ride past the burning ghats and old palaces, and return in the evening for the Ganga aarti at Dashashwamedh. Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, Kaal Bhairav and Annapurna is planned for early mornings when the lanes are quieter.

DAY2Temples of Kashi

Early darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, Annapurna and Vishalakshi. Afternoon at Kaal Bhairav and Sankat Mochan.

DAY3Boat ride & Sarnath

Sunrise boat ride along the ghats. Later, visit Sarnath where the Buddha gave his first sermon.

DAY4Fly home

Breakfast, a last walk by the river and airport transfer.
